technical difficulties

Hello everyone. sorry for the delay in 2013. My scanner has finally decided to take that long journey to calculator heavy and has left me a bit...at a loss for words.
There was smoke and a bit of flame but alas. I guess windows 8 was far too much for its little processor brain.
Rest assured I haven't stopped and will soldier on as best I can. Or rather, I plan on getting a new one ASAP.
